Seattle Capital’s executives are leaders in the banking and investment professions, adding to the overall strength of Seattle Financial Group’s management team.

Roger Johnson, President
Roger has extensive experience in the savings and loan, mortgage banking and banking industries. He began his career at Pacific First Federal Savings and Loan, later Pacific First Bank, and started its national correspondent lending program. He later joined Pioneer Savings Bank as senior vice president of real estate lending. He led the development of a broker lending division and helped the bank grow its balance sheet to over $1 billion in assets. Prior to joining Seattle Capital, Roger was president of his own land development and residential construction company with offices in Oregon and Washington. Roger is a graduate of Washington State University.

Bruce Groom, Senior Vice President, Residential Construction
Bruce joined Seattle Mortgage in September 2002 as manager of the Income Property Group. He currently manages the Residential Construction Lending Group. He also works to expand the company’s financial partnerships with homebuilders through Seattle Capital’s equity and debt financing. Bruce has more than 30 years of experience in real estate lending and commercial banking and has held positions at Washington Mutual and Pioneer Bank. He is a graduate of Washington State University.

John Huddleston, Senior Vice President
John manages the South Sound Office (Olympia) of Seattle Capital. He has nearly 30 years of experience in banking and real estate. Most recently, he was executive vice president and chief financial officer of Pacifica Bank in Bellevue. He was a founder of the bank and oversaw its growth and eventual merger with another bank holding company in 2005. Prior to founding Pacific Bank, John was managing partner of JCH Development and responsible for the formation and management of partnerships involved with the purchase and/or development of real estate. He is a graduate of University of Puget Sound.

Karen Hamilton, Business Development Officer
Karen is a Business Development Officer in the South Sound Office (Olympia) of Seattle Capital. She has extensive real estate experience as both a realtor and co-owner of a general contracting firm specializing in custom homes, townhomes and condominiums. She was part of the team that successfully designed, built, marketed and sold numerous projects in Thurston County. She has a strong background in real estate feasibility and cost analysis, market evaluation and project management. Karen is a graduate of Washington State University.
