The Confidentiality, Security, and Integrity of Your Information

Your Information and Our Affiliates

We may disclose certain types of information about you to our affiliates in order to provide you with information about additional products and services. The information we share from our account records may include information about your transactions and experience with us. Disclosing this information is permissible by federal law. Authorized Sharing - Outside Sharing and/or Joint Marketing Services

We may disclose information that we've obtained from our experience and transactions with you to companies that perform marketing on our behalf and institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements (i.e. other financial institutions and financial service providers). Disclosing this type of information (i.e. a customer's name, address, types of accounts and account balances) is permissible by law. Disclosure of this type of information is intended to facilitate the sale of our products or products of our affiliates. Information disclosed to the institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements is to be used for the purpose of direct mail solicitations only.

We do not disclose information about former customers, except as permitted by law. By state limitation, we will not share information about an Alaska customer as a result of a joint marketing agreement, if that customer has opted out. We will not disclose information about you to anyone except as disclosed in this policy or as permitted by law. This might include disclosures necessary to service your account, perform joint marketing, or prevent unauthorized transaction.

Terms and definitions

Affiliate - A company we own or control, a company that owns or controls us, or a company that is owned or controlled by the same company that owns or controls us. Ownership does not mean complete ownership, but means owning enough to have control.
Nonpublic personal information - Information about you that we collect in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. Nonpublic personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records.
Opt out - A choice you can make to prevent the sharing of certain information.
